Why do I need as-builts if I already know what I want to remodel?

Even if you have a vision, you need accurate measurements of your current home to start. Every county requires plans for permits, and contractors need precise drawings to give you fair bids and avoid surprises. As-builts make sure your remodel is built on accuracy.
Can I bring you a plan I found online?

Yes - that’s exactly how our custom home blueprint process works. You bring us a design you like, and we’ll modify it step by step to fit your lifestyle, lot, and county requirements.
Will your plans be accepted by my specific county?

Yes. All of our drawings are prepared to meet local code standards and can be reviewed and sealed by a licensed engineer. This ensures they’re ready for county approval and for your contractor to build from.
Do you build outside of Marion County?

Yes, absolutely. While we have deep roots and local expertise in the Ocala/Marion County area, our reputation allows us to serve clients across the state and nationally. We regularly draft plans for homes and specialized structures throughout Florida, as well as for unique projects across the nation.
​Do I need to find a structural engineer, or do you handle that?
​
Our service is fully integrated, which saves you significant time and ensures seamless coordination. We work directly with a licensed structural engineer who reviews, seals, and stamps your final blueprints as part of our process. You receive one complete, engineer-certified package that is fully code-compliant and ready for your county's permit submission.
​What if my home doesn't have existing blueprints?

That’s where as-builts come in. We’ll walk through your property, measure every detail, and create the baseline plans needed before remodeling, designing, or adding on.
Can you help with barns, RV garages, or other outbuildings?

Yes - we design both remodels and new builds for outbuildings, barns, and multi-use spaces. Whether it’s stables, workshops, or guest quarters, we create plans that are functional, permit-ready, and tailored to your property.
How long does the process take?

The duration of each project varies based on its scope, complexity, and client readiness. On average, most projects are completed within 1 to 3 weeks. Timely communication and approvals help ensure a smooth, efficient process from start to finish.
What payment options are available?
​
For your convenience, we offer a couple of ways to settle payment. We welcome payment by check. If you prefer to use a credit card, we can process that for you, but please be aware there is a 3.5% processing fee applied to credit card payments.
